What would cause my new plasma screen to brighten sometimes when watching a movie?
I just bought a brand new LG 50″ Plasma Flat Panel Tv…. and sometimes when im watching shows/movies and what not the screen brightness will brighten and dim all of sudden, almost like a flash of lightening … i just noticed it recently…what could it be? and how should i fix it if you know…
my setting are factory setting and the picture mode is set to vivid…
there is probably an auto dim feature. Check the picture settings for something called auto dim or auto something. It might be in a advanced settings menu if your tv has something like that. It will probably have a low, medium and strong setting. I would just turn it off.
