Go into a shop and see for yourself; ask some questions. LCD and Plasma are the flat types of modern TV. Freeview is digital TV, with many more channels. Modern TV’s have digital built-in. If you have an old TV, you need a “digibox” to receive digital programmes. Soon you will have to have digital, because the old 5 channel(analogue) system is switching off. HD is “High Definition”. This is a better quality broadcasting system, which is supposed to have a better picture. There are not many channels that have it, at this time.
