Why does my Philips plasma tv screen go blank?
It has happened once before. Its as if the tv is turned off all of a sudden, but the “on” light is still on. It wont do anything at all. Do these tv’s get too hot, or is it something more? Thanks!
I have had the tv for 8 months.
there are a few questions that need to be answered first, do you have a cable box, and how old is the t.v.? if you have a cable box there could be issues with the box, signals, or noise on the cable line, and if the t.v. is older than about 3 years, there could be an issue with the tuner inside the t.v.
If the t.v. is only 8 months old, i first would recommend that you have your cable or satellite company come out and make sure that everything is good on their end, and see if the problem continues…if it does hopefully the t.v. is still under warranty and you can have a new one installed for free!!!
