please don’t advice to call Technician because I called too many and no one knew how to fix it

Exactly what resolution were you trying? That TV sounds like an Hd Tv, so it should work with your laptop, just try 1280 x 720 at 60 Hz, that is the resolution for 720p HD standard, or, 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, which is the 1080p standard. Its important to select 60 Hz refresh rate if your TV is an Lcd Or Plasma type, as most of those displays cannot accept higher refresh rates, it will cause the image to distort in the vertical plane (stretch up and down quite a bit).

If your laptop does not allow those resolutions, you need to go into the display properties, then into the “advanced” configuration, select the “monitors” tab, and make sure that the option that says “hide modes that this monitor cannot display” is unchecked. If that option is grayed out and you cannot check/uncheck it, then you need to install a monitor driver for your TV (check on Sony’s site) or a generic Hdtv display driver. Note, this is different than a video card driver, its a driver specifically for the output display.

Once you get to the point where it allows you to select HD modes, then you should be able to get a fairly decent quality image from the TV. If you can select 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz successfully, and your TV still looks a bit weird, play with the menu settings on your TV. Some TV’s have to adjust to the incoming signal, on my HD monitor there is an option called “autoset” that checks the incoming signal and adjusts the display to fill out the entire screen properly, with no overscan.
