Can you please be specific with cables are far as male and female cables go. Thank you so much in advance :)

I just bought my first HDTV and is sure of how to configure it with my Fios DVR and DVD player. I need both HDMI cables and composite video cables?

I have an old Dell computer school. Dell Dimension 4100 to be exact. . . It is an additional 120GB hard drive on it, plus a fast Internet connection. . . So basically, what I say, is that getting the job done. I have a Samsung HDTV less than a year old, and has HDMI output, S-video, YP-whatver the Smurfs have left, practically everything you need. . . . I want my computer to be shown on TV. I know I need to have a graphics card, as well as a rope, I have a friend that will link all, I just want to know what people recommend. My computer is absolutely not HD, my TV is for sure, and I want something that will maximize opportunities between the two. . . I want to watch movies on my computer to the TV. . . Or I go shopping at Best Buy or Fry's Electronics (I live in AZ), or on the Internet, depending on the response I get. This is my first time posting here, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Ive got so a series Samsung 550 HDTV. Ive also got a DVD player, with a group of speakers and surround sound. I wanted to know if there was a way to connect my TV for DVD / home theater system, so that when im watching TV, with surround speakers? Thanks in advance!

Ok, I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop running WinXP, and a Samsung HDTV. I have a VGA cable, as I try to use to connect your PC to your TV so that I can show you pictures of my family from my laptop. The problem is when I unplug the VGA cable for the computer and the other end of HDTV, when I go to the source computer, it was "Mode not available", or when you are "looking for signal", I just blackouts.
Help?
